“Neomarxism” is a phrase banded about by right-wing economic liberals. It argues that elected liberal politicians rule us according to Marxist theory. They suggest we are living in a “neo-communist” system and we need proper capitalism: private healthcare, private courthouses, private police, privatised the sun, privatised air and rain..Do we really live according to Marx’s theory?
Or we are living in a system where capital rules?

Is this establishment of an understanding of neoliberal economics as “neomarxist” something working people want to internalise?

In my opinion, it’s just other newspeak of parasites from our ‘paid for’ media, politics and the ruling class they serve who want to control the working class by destroying the only thing that can destroy them, our solidarity.
